3HH Air Rifle and Pistol Competition Invitation
Hi all, as last year’s shooting event was sooooo successful we just couldn’t resist running it again. This year’s date is Saturday 13th June, yes very soon indeed!
* UPDATE * 1 JUNE 2009 – For a variety of reasons we have had to take the decision to CANCEL the Shooting Event this year. We hope that we can put this event back into the Calendar for 2010
The attached flyer gives full details however as a taste of what the competition is…..
* There’s an adult section open to all parents and adults at 3HH and by invitation if spaces permit to adult leaders from Richmond and Kingston district.
* There’s a junior section whcih will be subdivided depending on entry, minimum age for entry being 10 years old, therefore older Cubs, all Scouts and Explorers are eligible to enter but please check the rules.
* Priority in both sections will be given to 3HH members if entry is oversubscribed.
* There are four disciplines, air rifle, air pistol, a knockout competition and field target.
* All entrants must complete either a ‘permission to shoot form‘ for under 18s or for adults, sign a ‘declaration‘.
Time is very tight on this so please ensure you get your entry in ASAP! All interested parties send their applications directly to Simon Flowers as noted at the bottom of the entry form.
This was an excellent event last year and we strongly encourage all 3HH and Hampton Explorer parents, 10 year old Cubs and all Scouts and Explorers to come and have a fun half day’s shooting in a safe environment.
