3rd Hampton Hill Scout Group

Please join us for our Annual Group Celebration Event on Sunday 18 July 2010 at 2pm. This is a chance to review the year, looking at our achievements and to see what we have planned for the coming year.

There will be a Bouncy Castle, Games and a BBQ plus refreshments.

All members, family and friends are welcomed and encouraged to attend this event. Please spread the word.

The event starts at 2pm at our Scout Headquarters; The George Stanley Hall, ‘The Triangle’, rear of Holly Road Recreation Ground.

3rd Hampton Hill Scout Group

3rd Hampton Hill cubs and scouts are going to Borough camp. If you would like your cub or scout to attend please fill in the form and place it with a cheque into the box at the back of the hall marked ‘Borough camp’.

The camp will take place at Walton firs scout campsite, Cobham, Surrey. The dates for Scouts are Friday 2nd July – Sunday 4th July, and for Cubs Saturday 3rd July – Sunday 4th July.

The following activities will be on offer: Archery, climbing, abseiling, the adventure course, sporting tournaments and lots lots more. Getting muddy and having fun may also occur.

Closing date for forms to be returned is the 11 June 2010 please.

Yep, it’s official, we’re signed up to the Tesco’s voucher scheme as well as the Sainsbury’s one now. Until we get our Tesco collecting box, please pop all those lovely vouchers into the Sainsbury’s box and I’ll look forward to all that lovely sorting. We’ve had some good stuff out of the Sainsbury’s scheme in the last few years so keep ‘em coming and help us to both save money and improve and enhance the games and equipment we have for members.

P.S. in case you haven’t noticed, there’s no need to post your vouchers in the correct slot as they all drop into the same place! It would be nice if you sorted them into ones and fives with a rubber band though!
