“ROBIN OF THE HOOD” ~ EASTER CAMP
Saturday Ye 5th to Wednesday Ye 9th April 2008
Partake in ye olde activitees with Robin’s merry men and defeat the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham? Sleep in tents, cook on open fires, construct Robin’s hideout in the woods and defend it, design your own coat-of-arms and make bows & arrows with quivers, naturally! Then of course there’s the archery, aerial trekking, grass-sledging, go-karting, hike to Biggin Hill Airport and much more…
No doubt there’ll be some medieval jesters frivolity at the Medieval Banquet! We will have a hut to sleep in on the first night, and where our camp cook will prepare all meals and for creativity and talent if the weather is bad – but here’s to fab weather and lots of free time play in the woods. Cubs love mud, fresh air and freedom, especially when you give them a theme to play with
Cost of the camp is £70, we need a minimum of 24 cubs to make this viable. As a point of note, 3HH scouts will also be camping at the same venue at the same time, though in a remote spot in the depths of the woods – perhaps we should ambush them? Tee-hee!!!
