About us

Adventure is at the heart of everything we do. It is the single most important thing that sets Scouts apart. But don’t take our word for it – come along and give it a try!

Based in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames in South West London, we are part of the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation. We change lives by offering 6 to 14-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in our communities.

Each of our sections – Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts – take part in a full programme from crafts to international camps in the Swiss Alps and everything in between!

The Group consists of six Sections, two each of:

  • Beaver Scouts for boys & girls aged 6 to 8 years
  • Cub Scouts for boys & girls aged 8 to 10½ years
  • Scouts for boys & girls aged 10½ to 14 years
  • Our Explorers unit for young people ages 14-18 has it’s own website: https://peakeexplorerscouts.org/

3HH is a registered charity (303816). All of our adult leaders, supporters and committee members are unpaid trained volunteers committed to providing Scouting for young people in our area.

If you think Scouting’s just about knots, woggles and big shorts, then be prepared to be surprised. It’s how Richard Branson, Barack Obama and David Beckham got their start in life and you can benefit too.

Dwayne Fields proudly holds the title of the UK's 11th Chief Scout

An explorer, adventurer and TV presenter, Dwayne's been seen in BAFTA nominated Channel 5 series Race to the Pole, on BBC Springwatch, Countryfile, National Geographic and Disney+.
