Cubs Sixer and Seconders Skills Day 2023

Date: 5th Jun 2023 Author: Matt Rogers

3HH Cubs sixers and seconders enjoyed skills day on a gloriously sunny 3rd of June. They problem solved whilst having some laughs, before the serious business of fire building and lighting. They chose which type of fire they wanted to build and then cooked up a feast over it. All the fires were highly successful and lunch was devoured! They tried new foods and spices which was a credit to them all!

After being put through their paces in navigation, it was knots and lashings time to build a catapult. We finished the day with a blindfold pass the water challenge and a good old water balloon fight. Everyone was soaked and happy!   All of these fantastic young people have the makings of real scout legends and should be very proud of themselves!
