Hampton Hill Scouts at Hampton Hill Lights Up Christmas Parade ’24

Date: 5th Nov 2024 Author: Matt Rogers

Come and join us at the Hampton Hill Christmas Parade.

See our Cubs parade and join us for some complimentary mulled wine and peruse the wares (if you dare) at Honeyduke’s Sweet Shop.

3rd Hampton Hill Scout Group will be at this year’s Hampton Hill Christmas Lighting Up parade from 5:30 on Friday 29th November and we’d love to see you there.  As well as our Cubs joining the parade we’ll have a double-sized stall in the precinct by Tesco’sH, one half where we’ll be offering free mulled wine for the grown-ups (Dumbledore’s own special recipe) and maybe some ‘smores’ toasted over fires lit by our pet dragon for anyone who’d like one, the other half will be Honeydukes Sweetshop freshly relocated from Diagon Alley for the evening where you’ll find all sorts of sweet treats should you be brave enough to try them!

Not a member?

We’d love to talk to you about your children joining and how you can help celebrate your local Scout group’s 75th birthday.

Got some free time on your hands and want to give something back to the community, or maybe just want to try something new?  Talk to us about volunteering which could be in our leadership teams with our young people, or other ways you could get involved.  Volunteering is great for your mental health and you get a whole bunch of new friends as well as the opportunity to join in with some really exciting activities.

And of course, you can join in the fun by designing your own Christmas Hat!

See you there and don’t tell ‘he who shall not be named’….

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
