The weekend of June 16th to 18th was packed with excitement as our Scouts gathered at Thames Young Mariners for an unforgettable “Water Weekend” camp. From thrilling water sports to teamwork-building activities, the Scouts had a blast, creating memories to last a lifetime.
The camp was a haven for water enthusiasts, with a wide range of aquatic activities for the Scouts. They embraced challenges such as paddleboarding, kayaking, rafting building and even tried their hand at pulling, working together in teams to master the art of maneuvering a boat using oars.
The Scouts’ Water Weekend camp at Thames Young Mariners was a resounding success, filled with laughter, teamwork, and incredible water-based activities. As they embraced the challenges, learned new skills, and formed lasting friendships, the camp served as a reminder of the transformative power of outdoor adventures. The Scouts returned home with a renewed spirit, carrying the memories of their unforgettable experiences, ready to take on the next thrilling adventure that awaits them.
