Welcome to the Newest Members of 3HH — Our Squirrels! 🐿️

We’re thrilled to share that 3rd Hampton Hill Scout Group has officially opened its brand-new Squirrels Drey, welcoming 11 energetic and enthusiastic 4–6-year-olds to the Scouting adventure!

Our very first hour long session took place this week and what a brilliant start it was! The young Squirrels jumped straight into the fun, trying out games, crafts, and activities designed to spark curiosity and build confidence.

From making their own name tags to flying paper aeroplanes, every moment was packed with excitement — and plenty of laughter too. The energy, imagination, and eagerness to learn were infectious — and it was lovely to see friendships already beginning to form. Parents told us how excited their children were in the lead-up, and how happy (and slightly tired!) they were afterwards.

This marks a big milestone for 3HH. Launching Squirrels not only helps us reach young people earlier in their development but also gives them the chance to grow through the entire Scouting journey — from Squirrels to Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and beyond.

A big thank you goes to our incredible volunteers who made the launch possible — and to the families who’ve joined us with such enthusiasm.

We can’t wait to see where this journey takes our newest adventurers. Here’s to our Squirrels — small but mighty!
